Bo’s Bar & Stage, Red Deer

Bo’s Bar & Stage leaned fully into its reputation as a rock room as Big Sugar rolled into Red Deer on one of their Alberta stops for the 30th Anniversary Hemi-Vision Tour. Their blend of blues, rock and, reggae undertones, filled the venue effortlessly. Lighting stayed simple, warm washes and saturated tones amplifying the analog feel of the performance. Bo’s floor stayed packed, the audience locked into the groove rather than watching from a distance. The band performed two sets that kept everyone engaged and satisfied through the show and everyone left with a solid fill of soulful guitar, bang on vocals and satisfying harmonica.
