Cold Bones Festival -Multi Venue Event - Drumheller, AB

Photo coverage and recap by Riot Lens Media Co.

The level of nostalgia from attending Cold Bones Festival was a little overwhelming. As a former street-concert goer and punk pavilion kid, this felt like stepping into a time machine in the best way possible. Four very unique venues hosted huge lineups of talent each day of the festival — there truly was something for everyone.

From the incredible acoustics of Knox United Church, to swing-dancing tunes at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 22, across the block to the sweaty mosh pit at Heller Food Sandwiches, and over to Drum Distilling Co. for music and a good drink — this festival rocks. Family-friendly, community-led, and it genuinely felt like home.

If you didn’t get a chance to check it out this year, you won’t want to miss it in 2027!
