Ria Mae - TOUR TWO - Bo’s Bar & Stage - Red Deer, AB
Photo coverage and recap by Riot Lens Media Co.
Last night at Bo’s Bar & Stage, Ria Mae brought Tour TWO through Red Deer with a show that felt less like a performance and more like a room full of friends.
James Adams opened the night with an incredible solo piano set. Just them, their keys, and a room that was completely pulled in. Their talent is something to witness both with instruments and vocals, a truly professional opening set.
Ria’s set blended newer material with the songs people clearly came ready to sing along to, but what stood out most was the ease they carry on stage. Ria has that unmistakable East Coast warmth — real and easy to connect with. Between songs they chatted with the crowd, laughed, and made the room feel intimate in a way that suits Bo’s perfectly.
Their Nova Scotia roots show not just in their sound, but in their presence. There’s a friendliness there that feels natural. By the end of the night, the energy felt less like a stop on a tour and more like a hometown show even here in Central Alberta.
A strong set, a welcoming vibe, and a reminder of why East Coast artists are known for bringing heart with them wherever they go.
