The Rhythm River Music Festival brought a full evening of music and community to the Freewheelin Motorcycle Campground in Rocky Mountain House on August 23, 2025. Running from late afternoon into the early hours, the event blended genres and audiences into a single flowing lineup that kept the grounds active throughout the night.
From country and blues to hip-hop, R&B, and powwow-influenced sounds, the stage showcased a wide range of artists including Jon Deck, Too Deep 2020 & Saint Charity, Grimstone, Stephen James Scott, Fiktion, Oddiologist, Mahihkan, Preston Airies, Ice C & Bampy, and Crazy Horse. Each set brought a different pace and atmosphere, shifting naturally from laid-back listening moments to higher-energy crowd engagement as the night progressed.
Beyond the stage, the festival maintained a relaxed, welcoming environment with space for conversation, movement, and community connection, complemented by a pop-up disc golf course and a donation-based entry that emphasized accessibility. The result was a grassroots event built around local talent and shared experience, carrying music well into the night.
